Walking on dry river beds in Spain

Carrying on from our first part as I mentioned you cross the dry river bed ( mainly dry there are some channels with water where streams join but these peter out after a while as there is just not sufficient water to fill the river (Rio) When you reach the river bed it provides you with a new route all in its own right. A route that is different from many as your not just following the course of the river but in the course of the river providing a angle on the world you don't always get (written in April and the river is dry ) (But I am sure it is full of water in Winter at least )
In this stretch's case you can see parts of the railway lines construction that would otherwise be hidden and find hidden little creeks ( Cala) that are not visible from the main walk ( discussed in part 1 ) above
This route also starts / finish from Los Carasoles near Albox just walk along the river bed as far as you like there are many exits and even vans and cars drive along it on occasion's ( I started from the Railway bridge and finished in los Carasoles )
And as with the other route you get the feeling your at times the only person for miles (which I doubt you are ) which can be a very nice feeling
If you follow this river down stream you reach the River of Almanzora which has water in it and is flowing
Once again it is relatively easy terrain bring water and decent foot wear and most people of all ages will be more than capable of this one
May not be suitable for push chairs and wheel chairs

(this is part 2 of my walking routes series Part 1 can be found here )
