I don't know what the etiquette for this kind of thing is here, so apologies if this is not allowed. My wife and I just wanted to thank Lynne Clark and her partner for the safe delivery of a few of our belongings from Scotland. Arranged to have a few boxes and a bike picked up on Saturday but they got there earlier than expected, so had our stuff picked up and delivered to our door in Javea yesterday afternoon.

I was a bit wary as I've never done anything like this before but I really had no need to worry. Every question I asked was answered, usually within moments of me messaging and the communication was great. All our things arrived exactly as we packed them. Highly recommended :) So again, Lynne, thanks a million, from both Gina and myself.

The indalo man

The Indalo man is the provincial symbol of Almeria Spain (the Province we are based in )
He is a symbol of
Hope
Rebirth
Rejuvenation

He has been the Symbol of Almeria for about 100 years but was before that the symbol of Mojocar and dates back a very long way and has been found in cave paintings

It is with great sadness that I tell you this our Gemma passed away yesterday at age 13 (06/08/2017) she has now re-joined old Charlie ( So Charlie she is back to pick on  you only kidding )

In her 13 years she got up to some amusing things like when ever she meet Daisy a min Dachshund with her coat on she would sniff her head and her back end and look at us like where has the rest of the dog gone ( yes the same one who used to walk Charlie if his lead was trailing on the floor)

Among several new services we are now able to offer is the transport of your pets between the UK and Spain ( or vica versa ) this will only be offered in conjunction with your move.

The van that will be used to provide the service will be air conditioned to ensure the safe and comfortable transit of your pet (Cats/Dogs)

We will stop every 2 hours to feed, water and exercise your pet

Paul the driver is a professional driver with many years commercial driving experience in both van and articulated lorries in those many years he has transported live animals on many occasions

And when it comes to dogs we have had dogs in our lives for a very long time

Lynne for example has had dogs in her life for 50 or so years. From a westie as a child to our current two a Dalmador and Dalmatian, in that time there has never been a time she has not had dogs
And those 50 or so years of constant contact and experience with dogs is invaluable, Lynne is what you call a dog person and truly has a passion for them, you can rest assured that if we transport your pet ( conditions apply you may travel with the pet in the van but please ask about this ) it will have a pleasant, relaxed and safe journey

Can't praise this,removal company enough .they picked my stuff up at 6pm on Monday the 17th July from Santopetar Taberno Almeria Spain and is at this minute being unloaded in hawick I n the Scottish borders .nothing was to much trouble .fantastic service by a very good company .at sensible prices .would recommend them to anyone great job you guys have a safe journey back home

(The Aragon Region of Spain ( on the Road (modern Spain) the Autovia A23 / Autovia mudecar you will find a statue of St George slaying the Dragon as he is also patron Saint of this region of Spain ) (Which once was an independent Kingdom and Even supplied England a Queen Catharine of Aragon who married first Philip Tudor (Henry the 8ths Brother ) who died before ever taking the English throne and of course married Henry the 8th as his first of 6 wife's ( the one he divorced ) and mother to an English Queen Mary Tudor some times know as bloody Mary (and she is not the same lady as Mary queen of Scots they where cousins )

Did you know that Spain is one of Europe's most biodiverse countries and the region of Andalusia due to it's year round warmth with areas like the Almonzora Valley averaging 20 degrees even in Winter , is Spain's most biodiverse region (this is also partly due to how close parts of the region are to Africa )

Just one ( sorry if your scared of Spiders) example of this diversity a (slightly scary example) is the 1700 species of Spiders found in the region
And don't get me started on the size of the Ants
And you can find the Dung beetle here the same one as in Africa that lives on Elephant Droppings

And this level of biodiversity is not just the Fauna but the Flora as well from the famous lemon (Limon ) orange and olive trees of the region and the many vegetable that are grown here to the wild plants

And the region is of course home many fish ( see my other blog article on this link here ) and plenty of Birds 

And when it comes to mammals in areas like the Pyrenees their are European brown bears and in certain areas of Spain their are Lynx's and thought out most of Spain their are wild boars.
And the only area in Europe that the rabbit should be is Spain and Portugal they where introduced to the rest of Europe by the Romans for their meat.

As it stands our van will be taking the ferry 8 times this month

So we have plenty of upcoming Uk routes from Spain and have space on them
